Would it be possible to have an option to be able to reset your account to possibly explore the other characters or if you pick the one character at the start? It would be nice to be able to reset than making another account.

There is an item in the Item Mall which allows you to switch main characters!

I saw that, but are we going to have free cash when the game is released? Or are we going to have to make a new account if we decide on a different character, or pay cash?

There are droppable items that let you switch to another character temporarily. It doesnt UNLOCK them to change to any time, but you can switch to a hero until you decide to change back. And they arnt that hard to find !
