When knockback is bad.

When fighting any more than 1 ranged enemy at a time as Krug, i hate that when i hit one, hes knocked behind the others and i cant reach him anymore, i have to switch to a full hp target and am unable to finish off the wounded. I can set my ranged guys to attack him but then where is my glory ?

Was the initial idea behind knockback that a frontrow melee group could push a tank back to reach the squishies ? Maybe if knockback interrupted it would be less aggravating =/
