I've never understood why (well, besides GREED) so many MMO's have taken to selling 'chance' things. Whether its a mystery box to open or an actual gambling mechanic. The problem is, for gambling to pay off the house has to make the profit, so selling items that are win or lose will only get you more unhappy customers than lucky satisfied ones. Just about every game drops a locked box these days ! Whats even worse are the ones (DRAGONS NEST) that lead you through a dungeon and then give you the CHANCE at a reward (Sword and Magic did this too but did it well)
I dont think i'll ever buy a dungeon key, if i got all junky items then i'd just feel regret, i could blame myself but i'd probably blame the game ! I WOULD buy the dungeon key limit increase, even if im on every day to never go over limit. We like permanent things, thats why we play RPG's ! Anyways i look forward to being able to reduce useless rares into useful trading materials:P ![]() ![]() |
