One of the coolest features i've seen in a browser mmo game, specifically with a hefty cash shop, was an automated server auction. For a few hours each day, it would auction off a random selection of cash shop items and the highest bidder after a few minutes would win.
This was a genius way of making a great gold sink, but also for encouraging players to be active, or else they might miss an item at a good price ! The public quests seem to already do that, i just hope that power creep doesnt become a big issue. This is when a game has some p2w elements but has free ways to earn things but can be dominated by people who do pay. Tournaments for example, great prizes, but you dont stand a chance =/ Also, mini games that disregard level entirely. This game could have a plethora of them based on the clicking challenge mechanics. ![]() ![]() |
