currently attack power is not influenced by speed, that seems like an oversight since its an estimate of all combined elements of damage (hit, crit rate, crit damage, power) so attack speed should reflect on it too.

The weapon "damage" is showing damage per second. Damage per second is stat determined with a formula combining base weapon damage and speed to give you how much damaged you would do over a period of time.

The reason I bring this up is because if the Attack Power stat in the character info screen is considering the Weapon Damage as the DPS number you see on weapon details, then they have already factored in the speed by relation.
