I didnt obtain my ultimate until after this patch change, however I really like how the ability unique items were replaced with a universal one.
I read in a thread something like how it didnt previously have a gain charge every X min, meaning it was consumable only I imagine. Im kinda on the fence about adding it, naturally I love the idea, however it does decrease the "rare occurrence" a little.

Anyway now to the bug.
When not in a zone : Namely the shack
using a "gift of the gods" adds 1 to your gift of the gods refreshing stack, it can go over the 5 but natural gains stop occurring every 30min. Working as intended.
HOWEVER
All old consumable Ultimate ability items got changed into gift of the gods with the patch, however they do not stack with any other gift of the gods(new drops or gifts from previous other items) and when used they are not consumed.
New gift of the gods from drops and rewards are properly being consumed, just the modified old ones are bugged.

I used all 3 of my old gifts - to remove the extra stacks and noticed this issue, tried again outside of the stash and in the AH map. Then tried a "new" drop. In all cases new gifts worked as intended, old modified gifts were infinite.
( I didnt own a "own class" previous ability, although I its possible I doubt using non-class gifts is the cause)
