When you switch between different classes and back to a previously played class, you lose ALL stat points! Your augments are not saved either, but having no stats is a real bummer.

adding too this, cant really find a way to switch back to an unlocked character once i've changed.

Some more information here.
Upon relogging, your skills do get saved, unfortunately stats are still not saved. Switching to another class allows you to respec augment points, but you lose all your stat points in the process (since you returned back to your character). Also on a small note, skill locations are not saved when you switch between characters.
